"Felt like I was being ignored"
I reached out to Prose Hair twice about a problem with my order, and both times I only got the automated reply. I kept checking my email for a few days thinking someone would follow up, but nothing actually helpful ever came through.
For something that’s supposed to be custom, I personally expected the support to feel a lot more responsive. Instead, it felt like once I placed the order, I was kind of on my own, which made me regret buying from them.

"Didn’t really do much for my hair"
I really wanted to like Prose, but it didn’t make big difference for my hair. The shampoo had a nice smell, and the whole custom quiz thing was kind of fun, but after using it for few weeks my hair still felt dry and flat. For the price, I was expecting more noticeable results. It didn’t feel that different from a regular shampoo and conditioner I’ve used before.

"Canceling was way harder than it should’ve been"
I signed up thinking it’d be easy to stop if I didn’t need it anymore, but nope. They just kept charging me, and I had to keep checking my account because I wasn’t sure if it actually went through or what. the whole thing was annoying, like, I get subscriptions are everywhere now, but canceling shouldn’t feel like a mini project

"Finally, my hair feels softer"
I’ve been using Prose for a few weeks now, my hair does feel better. It used to come out of the shower feeling rough and frizzy, and I’d get annoyed trying to brush through it because I don’t have the patience for that. Now it’s smoother, softer, and way easier to deal with. It’s not magically perfect every single day, but it’s a big improvement for me, so I’m happy with it.

"Consistent every time"
Not gonna lie, I really like how my mix comes out the same every time. It’s consistent, easy to rely on, and I love that.

"Cute, but not for that price"
It was fine, I guess. My hair felt okay afterward, but definitely not in a "wow, this was worth the money" kind of way. For what it costs, I sort of expected more than just mildly decent results. Glad it worked out for someone, probably, but I don’t think I’ll be buying it again

"Made my scalp really itchy"
I really wanted to like Prose Hair, especially because it feels like one of those products that should be great, but my scalp just did not agree with it. After a few washes I started getting really itchy and flaky, which was weird because that’s not usually something I deal with. At first I thought maybe it was just a random thing or my scalp adjusting, but it kept happening, so I stopped using it and quickly everything calmed back down. So yeah, unfortunately it just wasn’t worth the money for me.

"Not sure the quiz really matched me"
I don’t know, maybe I answered the quiz wrong or expected too much, but the formula I got didn’t feel like it matched my responses at all. I was hoping it would feel more personalized, but it just seemed kind of off for me.

"I sent my order back weeks ago..."
I sent my order back weeks ago and I’m still sitting here with no refund and no real help from customer service. I’ve had to explain the same situation over and over, which is getting really frustrating. I just want my money back without having to keep repeating myself

"Shipping took way longer than expected"
My order showed up really late, and I barely got any updates along the way. After a while I started wondering if I’d been fooled or if the package was even coming at all. It did arrive eventually, but the lack of communication made the whole experience stressful.

"Really nice packaging"
The box showed up neat and wasnt damaged at all. You could tell everything was packed with care, nothing fancy, just simple and really nice honestly
